Dhammika Karunadhara
At the heart of Print Express is Dhammika Karunadhara, a master of the printing craft, a renowned educator, and a respected leader in Sri Lanka’s commercial printing industry.
With over 30 years of experience in print production management, offset printing, and publishing, his vision and expertise have become the backbone of our company.
Coming from a multigenerational printing family, Mr. Karunadhara began his career in the 1980s at his family’s press.
Since then, he has grown to become one of the most professionally qualified printing specialists in the country, with a career that has both preserved and modernized the print industry in Sri Lanka.
A significant milestone in his journey was his training at the prestigious INGRIN Institute of Printing and Graphics, a Dutch-led global printing school that established a branch in Sri Lanka to develop the next generation of international-standard print professionals.
Mr. Karunadhara was part of a highly select group of Sri Lankan printers chosen for intensive, hands-on training in the Netherlands, where he worked across several advanced printing facilities, gaining rare, practical exposure to global best practices.

Costing and Estimating
Beyond being a student of the craft, he has also shaped it. For over 25 years, he has served as a Senior Lecturer and Consultant at INGRIN Sri Lanka, crafting and delivering tailor-made training programs, technical workshops, and industry seminars that have educated hundreds of print professionals across the country.
His extensive knowledge in prepress, press, and post-press production, coupled with his ability to operate and repair virtually any printing machine in Sri Lanka, has made him a sought-after consultant by companies like Avery Dennison.
He has also managed the production of numerous award-winning print products during his tenure at Gunasiri Printers & Publishers (Pvt) Ltd, one of Sri Lanka’s most historically significant print institutions.
Under his leadership, Print Express is more than just a printing company — it's a center of excellence committed to world-class quality, technical precision, and the continuous advancement of the printing craft in Sri Lanka and beyond.
